Description Spider wood has been dried out for shipping purposes. It is light weight making the freight less expensive. For this reason they do not sink. The wood needs to absorb enough water before they will sink. You will need to use weight to sink it and after one week, the wood will sink by itself. Also, a white fungus might develop over the wood but that is normal. Fish will even eat it, so that is part of the transition process. Any of the moss plants look beautiful attached to this wood!
