Description: The Green Bird Wrasse is easily distinguishable by its long snout that it uses to for search and catch food. The males are an amazing vibrant green that will add amazing color to larger fish only tanks. This wrasse originates from the west Indo-Pacific and needs a lot of room to swim. If a tank is too small they will injure their long nose by swimming into the glass. A lid is required as this fish can easily jump out. When not actively swimming, it will gravitate towards the bottom of the tank and bury itself in the sand bed.
