Details:  An incredible find, in wonderful antique condition!  This antique pitcher has a gorgeous shape and very pretty thistle decal with brushed gold on the rim.  A very rare find, very desirable pottery piece made by John Moses & Sons (aka Glasgow Pottery).  We are not certain on the body style, it is not their Trilby shape, although this decal can be found on Trilby wares. We have not seen another one like it, these are highly collectible.  There is a very minor issue, see below.  Great gift for an ironstone pottery collector, and gorgeous as a vase for flowers and home decor!
  • Material:  Earthenware / Ironstone
  • Dimensions:  7.0 inches Tall, approx. 7 inches Wide (spout to handle).
  • Condition:  Antique - Used.  Very Good Antique Condition.  There is a very small chip on the base, otherwise no other issues noted.  Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  All Sales Final.  Please remember these are ANTIQUE and VINTAGE items, they are NOT NEW, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.

Glasgow Pottery was established in Trenton, NJ by John Moses in 1863. Other names during their years of operation:  John Moses & Company; John Moses & Sons Company; John Moses & Co. Glasgow Pottery.  In 1882 white granite was marked “Glasgow China,” in a circle. During its operation, this pottery was considered to be of equal quality to the great English potters of that time.  Thomas Maddock's Son's Co. purchased the Glasgow Pottery in 1906.
